All service packs can be used for updating the corresponding release version only - i.e. a service pack 5.40-01 requires a base installation of VISSIM 5.40. The updates are cumulative, meaning that the latest service pack includes all earlier ones.
A setup wizard will guide you through the installation of a Vissim service pack. The corresponding setup file is available for download in both packed and unpacked format. Please execute this setup file and follow the instructions of the setup wizard.
Customers with a maintenance contract can download the setups for the current and future base installations from the personal download area. Customers without a maintenance contract are kindly requested to send their enquiries to info@vision.ptvgroup.com (sales.us@ptvgroup.com for North American).
For the creation of an installation CD with the VISSIM Viewer, the downloaded *.zip file has to be unpacked with a suitable program. After this, you can find a description of the procedure in the file viewer_readme.txt in the directory VISSIM_Viewer\.
